George: HI,Peter.How are you doing these days?
喬治：嗨，彼得。這幾天你過得怎麼樣？
Peter: I'm doing great! Wow! We haven't seen each other for almost two
years.
彼得：我過得很好啊！哇！我們已經沒有看到對方快兩年了。
George: Yeah! Time flies! Are you still working in that semiconductor
company?
喬治：是啊！時間過得真快！你還在半導體公司工作嗎？
Peter: Yeah,Taiwan Semiconductors.And you?
彼得：是啊，台灣半導體，你呢？
George: I quit teaching at a technology university last summer. Now I'm
the sales manager at Smart Electronics. It's an interesting job because
I like meeting and talking to people.It keeps me pretty busy,though.
喬治：在去年夏天我不教科技大學了。現在，我是智能電子產品的銷售經理。這
是一個有趣的工作，因為我喜歡與人見面和談話。雖然,這使我相當忙碌。
Peter: Yeah,everybody seems to be busy these days.I have to stay
after-hours in the laboratory two or three nights a week.A lot of products
have to go nano,and we have to do lots of R&D work.
彼得：是啊，近來每個人似乎都要忙，一週兩或三晚我下班後要留在實驗室。有
很多的產品必須走向奈米，和我們必須做大量的研發工作。
George: Going nano certainly seems to be the trend! In fact,my buyers are
asking for products to be made smaller and smaller,but with more and better
functions.
喬治：走向納米似乎肯定是大勢所趨！事實上，我的買家要求的是產品要越做越
小，但提供更多更好的功能。
Peter: Yeah,that's not easy.So,how's your pretty girlfriend,Linda?Are
you two married yet,George?
彼得：是的，這是不容易的。那麼，你的漂亮女朋友琳達呢？喬治你們兩個結婚
了？
George: Well,she broke up with me last winter.I was heartbroken.I'm OK
now,though.
喬治：嗯,去年冬天她跟我分手了，我傷心欲絕，雖然,我現在好了。
Peter: I'm sorry to hear that.Say,how about coming to my house for dinner
this Saturday? My wife,Jane,cooks well and likes to have company.
彼得：我很遺憾聽到這個消息。再說，怎麼樣這禮拜六要來我家吃飯嗎？我的妻
子珍，做飯很好吃和喜歡有陪伴。
George: I'd love to.Thanks.Peter.
喬治：我會很喜歡的。謝謝。彼得。
