Introduction to English Picture Book and Creativity Oct.25, 2012 The Nose Book I’d like to introduce a book with rhythm and rhyme. It’s a simple and interesting story that all about “nose” rhymed in “s” sound. The beginning of the story starts in several types of nose such as pink nose, red nose, long nose and strong nose. They grow on every kind of head and between each pair of eyes. Although nose is useful, sometimes your nose will make you mad. For instance, noses could smell a rose, but sometimes they get burned by sun. Suppose one day you have no nose. What would happen? At last, the story ends of a rhyme. For example, “That’s why everybody grows, between his eyes, some kind of nose!” To sum up, children could learn many from this rhyme book. It presents that everybody grows a nose. Then tell us why nose is useful and what the disadvantage is without a nose. It’s really a fun and meaningful story that suits for children.
