The future consequences of low birth rate in Taiwan

Taiwan is one of the smallest countries in the world. It is also the
crowded place which filled with (a population) about twenty-three
million residents. Owing to the fact over-industrialization and
commercialization, all of us on this island have to suffer from the air,
water, and even pollution. Thus, lower live we suffer from low living
quality, and I am often fed up with traffic jam all the time. In short, too
many people sharing the limited nature (very limited) resources also
cause many conflicts and problems.
Nowadays, (Because of the bad living quality, younger couples
refuse to give birth to babies. Now low birth rate seems (has become) a
big issue in Taiwan; it means newborn babies now are less than before.
Though most of the people, especially the health officials, worry about it
very much, it may be the solution for over-crowded (to this
over-crowded nation).
In the future, when (as) the population declines, every one of us can
live more comfortably and gain better welfare and more space. Most of
all, the exhausted mother earth can have a chance to take rests (a rest)
for a while.
