Reading Evaluation
A. Purpose：
For this reading test, my purpose is to let my students focus on
reading comprehension and try to practice reading speed, skimming
techniques and translation. It is important to have fast reading speed
and understand the article. When you don’t understand the words,
please do not panic and try to guess the meaning from the context.
Also, skimming techniques can help you understand the article
quickly before you read carefully.

E. Summary：
For different stages of the students, teachers should give the
different types of reading articles. If the teachers give students a
very hard test, students will feel frustration and cut down their
confidence. I think it will lose the meaning of the exam. The ten
items below, the vocabularies in the paragraph is not too difficult for
grade 8. They can easily understand the article and choose the
correct answer. Moreover, these kinds of paragraphs are for
advanced students. These levels should not ask for words or phrase
as they appear in the passage and should avoid illogical distracters.
