GlossyBox is an ecommerce retail company that specializes in providing monthly subscriptions of

Logistics and Operations Manager
Essential Job Function:
The Logistics and Operations Manager plays a critical role within the organization as it’s your job to make
sure that everything runs smoothly and on-time. He or she is a great at looking ahead and planning for
the future, loves to solve (and fix) problems and can effectively manage relationships with suppliers,
customers and internal clients. As we enter new markets and categories, the Logistics and Operations
Manager will work closely with the CEO to set up new processes, develop key relationships and have
significant input into the structure and development of the operations function from the outset.
Your responsibilities:

Set-up and manage the operations of a rapidly growing internet business, with particular
emphasis on ensuring the timely delivery of materials and a high standard of quality control

Responsible for all sourcing, fulfillment, and shipping processes of the company

Manage fulfillment and logistic partners, negotiating contracts and monitoring of performance

Continuously review, analyze and improve performance of operations processes; quickly
identify issues and rapidly develop solutions

Develop and implement long-term goals and KPIs for the operations function to promote
efficiency and effectiveness

Work closely with Executive team to set direction and ensure operations are in line with overall
business strategy

Directly report to CEO
Your profile:

Bachelor degree in business administration, business engineering or equivalent

Several years of work experience in operations / logistics, ideally in a mail-order or ecommerce
environment

Experience in team and supplier management

Comprehensive knowledge of supply chain processes

High degree of flexibility and motivation; able to cope with an extremely fast-paced environment

“Can-do” attitude, able to find solutions / make pragmatic decisions under pressure

Effective time management with a strong ability to multi-task

Good business judgment with a dedication to the overall success of the business

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Commitment to operational excellence with high attention to details

Very structured, organized working style with strong follow-through

U.S. Work Authorization, German a plus


四、心得
在看了這篇徵才的廣告之後，發現了在經理階段的職務，是需要有實
力的人才能接下來的，而企業想要的人才，首要條件也是需要你的態度，
你的態度必須有著充滿活力、勤奮的心情和以工作為樂的感覺，而認真負
責的態度和抗壓性也是重要的環節之一，一個好的徵才廣告，內容必須寫
得清楚，想要擁有甚麼能力的人才，他是否需要有經驗，他的工作需要做
些甚麼，都要明確的寫出來，這樣求職者才能明明白白的知道自己致否符
合要求，想要在世界頂端的紐約工作，可不是一件容易的事情呢。
五、與課程內容應證
聽到老師之前講的一件事，有個老師違造證書而進了學校教書，而竟
然在學校裡都沒有被發現，直到他欲求不滿，為了找尋更高的滿足，才讓
自己露了餡，這樣讓我們發現學校裡的徵才結構出了點問題，這有可能在
無形中拖垮了很多人，所以"團隊”是非常重要的，課程中也有提到，一個
好的公司是由一個好的團隊的努力與互相合作才形成的，一個人不可能做
出這麼大的成就，所以重要的關鍵就是”Team”。
六、另類思考
現在的世界有著好幾億的人口，所以人力的資源也非常的大，但是人
力需求卻沒有這麼的多，這就出現了很多問題，沒工作的人就沒有收入，
也相對的就無法消費，一直都只能待在下層不起，而在上層的人也需要下
層的人來消費，才能擴大版圖，擴大版圖就會需要更多的人力資源，但是
現在的人實在是太多了，在這樣持續增加下去，以後是否會變得無法負荷
呢?
七、上過本課之心得
這學期已經要接近結尾了，也讓老師教了我們快一個學期了，在這個
學期裡面，老師講了很多我們不知道的事情，對於未來、老師親身或者是
看到、聽到的經驗，都與我們分享，而有一些在生活中我們很常用可是我
們去都不知道的來源，像是戒指要戴在無名指上是因為雙手合掌後，唯獨
無名指沒有辦法分開，還有阿拉伯數字的每一個數字都有角度的意義，也
在人力資源中學到了有關人力徵才，或者是一個公司從徵人，考試，面試
到通知獲取資格，和找一個工作所需的時間與過程等等的，使我們對畢業
後的未來更加的了解，也多少明白了現在必須做些甚麼，才不會比人家晚
了一步出發。
