Letters of recommendation from teachers, mentors,
coaches and school counselor are usually required

Ask for permission – from their teachers, coaches,
employer, mentor and school counselor
Give them time - Three to four weeks is an
appropriate amount of time
Seniors are required to- create a resume and
complete the yellow senior questionnaire.

Many college reps visit BV through out the Fall.
These are announced in the school bulletin
Students must sign-up in the counseling office to
attend these visitations

Bella Vista Graduation Traditions



Bella Vista’s graduation ceremony is held in
the Bella Vista Main Quad in the morning.
Students behave respectfully and with
decorum.
Dress code: The school dress code is in
effect; Boys are expected to wear dress
shoes, dress pants and a button-up shirt;
Girls are expected to wear a skirt/blouse,
dress pants, or dress and dress shoes.
Ceremony Reminders

Must be in Graduation Dress Code
No adornments of caps and gowns
Poor behavior that draws attention from the
ceremony will result in removal
Get here early-parking is limited
