Poly-dimethylsiloxanes (PDMS) is characterized by
high hydrophobicity ,flexibility and low
variation,but mechanical properties are poor.
Tests for temporal control of water release has
been attempted by using stimuli responsive
amphoteric gels.
This paper presents the synthesis of amphyphilic
copolymers and studies their properties as water
delivery systems as a response to the decreasing
humidity in atmosphere.





This paper presents the synthesis and the
structural characterzation of hydrophobichydrophilic gels built from PDMS and PMMA
sequences.
The water delivery tests were performed and the
possibility to use amphyphilic copolymer as
systems to mention humidity in soil is discussed.
