Getting ready for the walk. WALK-A-THON CHECKLIST Once again, it is time for our annual walk-a-thon. As usual Campbell’s Confections had made a huge commitment to supporting this festive event. We are expecting a turnout of 500 walkers this year. I know all of you will do your best to make this another great event. Here is a preliminary list of tasks our company needs to accomplish to fulfill our commitment to support the Chamber of Commerce Walk-A-Thon. Arrange for a refreshment stand at the finish. We will provide sports drinks, bagels, apples, and frozen fruit pops. We need a volunteer to check the list of walkers and make sure we have enough Campbell’s Confections walk shirts in the correct sizes for all participants. As before, we are giving shirts to all participants. Contact the Grove City Sign Shop to get started on a new display for our hospitality area at the finish line. OTHER CONCERNS: Pete Barnes is the chairman of the committee for physically challenged walkers, and he can use all the help he can get. As I am sure you know, the walk-a-thon supports the Library Education Fund.
