Activity areas could have two layers of implementation – campus-wide and “targeted groups” where activity reaches
deeper levels. A list of targeted groups might include:
o ESL/ABE students and programs
o Developmental English and Math students and programs
o Evening students and programs
o Transfer Degree students and programs
o Health Medical students and programs
o International Students
Administer a student survey instrument (around engagement) and develop policy/process for using results in ongoing
planning.
Professional development would be a strong component of all of the activities outlined here.
Questions/Observations
Does the above framework sufficiently fall within the parameters of Strategic Enrollment Management?
Program Review process and Program Viability process: How to integrate with the strategic engagement
goals of this grant?
Ideas that came up that are not incorporated here:
o Hiring an Enrollment Manager
o Marketing
o Career Link funding
o Diversity Director
o Alumni Association
o Center for Excellence/Centers of Emphasis
o More effective use of SCCtv
o Plagiarism
o Transfer obstacles
