Glassware drawer check in Procedures for C121, 161, 162, 163 and
131:

Obtain lock combination # master list (if you haven’t done so previously) and set
of assigned drawers for your class from Al. You may have already received
both by email

Have students pair up in groups of two or three and distribute the pink glassware
drawer sign-in sheets to each group with a pre assigned drawer number from the
list of assigned drawers for your class

When each group of students identifies the lock number on their assigned
drawer, pass out appropriate lock combinations from the master list to each
group. Have students check the contents of their drawer. Obtain any missing or
damaged items from the prep area. Check with Al, Frank, or Jeff for the location
of these items

Make sure the students sign and date the pink lab glassware drawer sign-in
sheet that they use to verify the complete contents of the glassware drawer.
Remind students to be careful with their glassware, as they are financially
responsible for any broken or lost pieces.

Instruct students to write their initials on a piece of masking tape and put it on the
stainless steel lock face plate on the drawer. Please ensure that they do not
put the tape on the wood surface of the drawer as this creates a mess and
is really difficult to get off. Please ensure also that the students fill in their
drawer and combination # on the pink sheet also and keep a record of this in
their lab notebooks

Sign and date the pink form of each pair of students. Hold onto the sheets until
the end of the quarter and use them to check out the students from their
glassware drawers. Please return them to Al when done.

Let Al know if you have any unused glassware drawers from the list of assigned
glassware drawers
Thank you 
