SENIOR SOCIAL WORKER
Washington County, located in West Bend Wisconsin has an excellent opportunity as a full-time
Senior Social Worker within the Human Services Department.
This rewarding position offers the incumbent the opportunity to work with children and families
performing Child Protective Services Access and Initial Assessment functions including, but not
limited to, the following responsibilities: completing Child Protective Services reports as
provided by community members, conducting investigations of child maltreatment, safety
planning, performing juvenile court intake services as appropriate, completing psychosocial
assessments, and coordinating with law enforcement, medical personnel, schools, and other
collateral sources in completing investigative work and planning for provision of services.
Further responsibilities include referring children and families to community resources,
advocating for clients, and facilitating organizational change to meet social needs.
Qualified candidates must possess:
 A Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited college or university.
 State certification as a Social Worker Advanced Practice required within 6 months of
hire.
 One year of responsible post graduate experience is preferred.
 A valid Wisconsin driver’s license, available automobile, and automobile insurance are
required.
Starting salary range $49,483 to $52,291 based on experience. Washington County offers a
