Passing on God’s Word Through Jesus Christ Who Is God? The Creator Genesis 1:1 – In the beginning God created the Heavens and the earth. The Creator of Man Genesis 1:26 – The God said, “Let us make man in our own image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish on the sea, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground. And so it was done… The Creation of Adam Genesis 1:27 – So God created man in his own image. And so it was done. Genesis 2:21-22 – So the Lord God caused the man to fall into a deep sleep; and while he was sleeping, he took one of the man’s ribs and closed up the place with flesh. Then the Lord God made a woman from the rib he had taken out of man, and he brought her to man. The Creation of Eve The Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him.” - Genesis 2:18 And man was placed with woman by God in the garden of Eden to work it and take care of it. Man’s Reply The man said, “This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called ‘woman, for she was taken out of man.” - Genesis 2:23 He is grateful to God for what he has given him. The Fall of Man Now the serpent was more crafty than any of the wild animals the Lord God had made. He said to the woman, “Did God really say, ‘You must not eat from the any tree in the garden?” She said, “We can eat from any tree in the garden but not from the tree in the middle. And we must not touch it or we will surely die.” - Genesis 3:1-2 “You will not surely die,” the serpent said to the woman. “For God knows that when you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.” - Genesis 3:4 When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it. She also gave some o her husband, who was with her, and he ate it. Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they realized they were naked; so they sewed fig leaves together and made coverings for themselves. - Genesis 3:6-7 Here comes the Lord and he saw what the serpent, woman, and man had done. And for the things they did he punished all of them. The serpent was cursed to crawl on his belly and eat dust all the days of his life. The woman’s childbearing pains will be greatly increased, and she will desire for her husband all the days of her life. The man will eat by the sweat of his brow, and cursed is the ground because of you. The 10 Commandments And God spoke all these words: “I am the Lord your God who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery.” #1 “You shall have no other gods before me.” #2 “You shall not make yourself an idol in the form of anything in heaven.” #3 “You shall not misuse the name of the Lord your God, for the Lord will not hold anyone guiltless who misuses his name.” The 10 Commandments Cont. #4 “Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy. Six days shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is a Sabbath to the Lord your God.” #5 “Honor your father and mother, so that you may live long in the land the Lord your God is giving you.” #6 “You shall not murder.” #7 “You shall not commit adultery. #8 “You shall not steal.” The 10 Commandments Cont. #9 “You shall not give false testimony against your neighbor.” #10 “You shall not covet your neighbor’s house, nor your neighbor’s wife, nor his manservant or maidservant, his ox or donkey, or anything that belongs to your neighbor. - Exodus 20:1-17 Christ First Coming Mary was over some by the Holy Spirit and the child she conceived was of God. God in the Flesh. And so the child was born in Bethlehem in Israel. While 3 Kings set out to search for him because of the prophecy that was written. They followed a bright star in the sky that had appeared in light of the times. As written in the prophecy. His Time on Earth When Jesus was alive in the flesh, he did many wonderful things, gave sight to the blind, healed the sick, raised the dead, cured leprosy, and forgave sins. Now, in those times the people thought only God had the power to forgive sins, not knowing who he was, so when he came he wasn’t accepted by his people, the Jews. While he was here he called on his disciples, whom ate with him at the last supper. Jesus Christ is the light of the world. With him you will need nor want anything else. And you might say to yourself how do we know which way is God. And to you Jesus replies. “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father but through me. If you really knew me, you would know my Father as well.” - John 14:6 His Death Jesus was crucified by the Romans authority because he clamed and is the King of the Jews. Now, at that time that was considered treason, punishable by crucifixion. And so it was done. Christ was crucified, and at his time of crucifixion he said, “Forgive them Father, for they know not what they do.” Unknowingly they were killing the Son of God. The Resurrection On the third day, he rose from the grave and ascended into heaven and seated at the right hand of the Father. And he will come again, and he will bring will him judgment and persecution to all who denied him. But those who ask for forgiveness he will forgive. And so I tell you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven. Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but anyone who speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven either in this age, or in the age to come. - Matthew 12:31 His Second Coming… When Jesus returns for the last time he will come to judge the world and every good, evil, righteous, or unrighteous. And those who have not denied him, those who have not forsaken him, he will be very pleased. The End They will be divided, father against son and son against father, mother against daughter and daughter against mother, mother-in-law against daughter-inlaw, and daughter-in-law against mother-in-law. - Luke 12:53 Behold, I am coming soon! Blessed is he who keeps the words of the prophecy in this book.” - Revelation 22:7 Maybe God be with you always and my you always keep his word. For when the time comes you will rejoice in his coming. And it will be a great day. God Bless All!
