TC women rout Panola
As reported by the Temple Daily Telegram, the Temple College women’s basketball
team routed Panola 86-51 in the second game of the Lady Leopard Classic Friday at TC
Gym. Tammara Ringer scored 18 points and had 10 rebounds for the Lady Leopards (44). Crystal Cray added 11 and 11, Kaci Fulton had 12 and six, and Cassie Wilson had 12
points and nine rebounds. The Lady Leopards closed out their Classic against San
Jacinto, which defeated McLennan Community College 67-65 Friday. San Jacinto
defeated TC 60-57 on Nov 4. “We came out and couldn’t find a bucket in first half,” said
TC coach Kim Sebek, whose team led 27-21 at the break. “Then we went and made some
adjustments and put the ball in the basket. We really worked well together in the 2nd half
and come together. “It’s incredible that you score 59 points in one half, but the girls
stepped it up a notch.
