City officials look at airport plan The Temple Daily Telegram reports that a report on phase two of the Draughon-Miller Central Texas Regional Airport master plan was presented to the Temple airport advisory committee and citizens today. Representatives of Coffman Associates, an airport consulting firm, presented alternatives for developing the airport, including proposals for extending the runways and adding facilities. According to the Telegram the phase one of the report, detailing an inventory of the area, forecasts for future uses and facility requirements, was presented in June.Sharon Rostovich, airport manager, said the master plan is an investment by the city in the future of the airport. "It's important to make sure you don't get behind the times," Mrs. Rostovich said. "We're looking at what we need for future plans."
