Hello Cathy,
The class covers Presentation Graphic software. While the presentations will be created in
Powerpoint, we also cover creating Animated GIFs, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat (PDF),
Macromedia Flash, and Video. Many of these graphic files can also be used creating Web
pages, so we have both the Adobe CS suite and Macromedia 2004 Studio software.
You will be required to use these programs to create both you team and individual projects.
Because this is an introduction class, some students create mostly standard Powerpoint
presentation while other students want to use more of the graphic formats in their presentation.
Do you have an interest in these graphic software programs? What is you degree plan? This
course is in the CIS, GIS, and Business/Management degree plans.
Currently Watson Technical Center(WTC) is being renovated and I am in the Health Science
Center(HSC) room 1881. The classroom we will use is 502 and when they reopen the building I
