On behalf of the Board of Trustees, the faculty, staff, and students, I am pleased to

If your goal is to pursue a baccalaureate or higher degree, Temple College is the point of
access for numerous professional fields, including medicine, law, education, business,
engineering, and the arts. Known for over seventy years for its exceptional ability to
prepare students for upper-level, university study, Temple College has consistently lived
up to its reputation for academic excellence.
If your interest is technical study, Temple College offers numerous options leading to
employment, with most programs of study offering meaningful “exit points” to the
workplace with the opportunity to resume study at a later time to pursue more advanced
certification or the completion of an Associate of Applied Science degree. Fields range
from the Health Professions to Industrial Technologies, from Computer Information
Systems and Computer Assisted Design to Criminal Justice, Management, and Office
Technology. Our strengthening relationship with business and industry assures the
competitiveness of our programs and increases the probability of employment. Temple
College has enjoyed an annual placement rate for students completing technical programs
of more than 95%.
If you need short-term training or re-training in a specific field, Temple College offers
ongoing opportunities in partnership with local business and industry. If you wish to
improve your basic skills before entering college or simply improve your employability,
we offer programs in Adult Basic Education, English as a Second Language, and G.E.D.
preparation. And if your interests are purely a vocational or recreational, there are
numerous programs available through the Office of Continuing Education.
Founded in 1926, Temple College offers a sense of history and tradition combined with
unprecedented progress in the development of technological support for instruction. It is
anticipating, as well, a dramatic transformation of its campus facilities as it prepares to
serve the students of the next century. It is truly an exciting time to be at Temple College,
