The Sciencenter is a non-profit, private, educational organization with a mission to serve the public. When you become a member of the Sciencenter team, you represent the Sciencenter to everyone you come into contact with.
As a member of the Sciencenter staff (paid or volunteer) you are entitled to:

Respect from all other staff members.
 Adequate training for your job.
 Access to information necessary to carry out your job.
 Periodic review, conducted by your supervisor.

Prompt attention to problems that may arise.

Consideration for your special needs when possible.
In turn, the Sciencenter expects you to:

Respect the rights of all other staff members.
 Be unfailingly courteous to all visitors to the Sciencenter.
 Maintain a neat appearance.
 Be punctual (notify your supervisor as soon as possible, if you are unable to meet your schedule).

Carry out your duties in a reliable and responsible manner.

Ask for help or advice when you need it.

Be willing to perform assigned tasks cheerfully.

Discuss problems with your supervisor as soon as they arise, so that they can be resolved promptly.
