If you are graduating in Spring 2016, the funds will be applied to your current account and any remaining funds will be sent to you from the Bursar’s Office. Requirements Current CU Boulder student in good standing with a minimum 2.5 GPA (must submit unofficial transcript for verification). Currently enrolled for at least 9 credit hours (at least 6 credit hours for grad students). Currently involved in a CUSG-recognized student group or organization (minimum involvement of one semester). Completion of essay and application, and submittal of two letters of recommendation. Essay Topic One page, typed, single-spaced, Times New Roman 12 pt. font, 1 inch margins. Tell us about a time when you initiated a positive impact to address a need in your student organization. What characteristics or skills did you demonstrate, how were they effective, and what did you learn from the experience? Letters of Recommendation Use the attached form and submit two (2) letters with your application. Each letter must be in a sealed envelope with your (the applicant’s) name on the front of the envelope. References should be individuals who can speak to your leadership abilities. References may be contacted by the Scholarship Committee. References should not be related to you, the applicant. All scholarship awards go through the CU Scholarship Office and the Bursars’ Office. Graduating seniors will receive their award as part of any refund they are due at graduation.
