Projects include the Personal Transportation Plan Pilot Program and the statewide seatbelt survey. Work focuses
on collaborating with partners in state agencies, nonprofits groups, and citizens as well as survey development
and data collection.

Chittenden County Regional Planning Commission, Winooski VT
Served as a Staff Planner providing technical assistance to municipal volunteer boards in preparation and
administration of federal grants, comprehensive plans, land use regulations, Act 250 applications, and special
topic plans. Specifically my work included:

Assisting in the preparation of the 2006
CCRPC Regional Plan;

Developing the scope and program for the
HUD Sustainable Communities Regional
Planning Grant;

Coordinating with federal, state and regional
partners, as well as municipal elected and
appointed officials and their staff, citizen
groups, and advisory councils in the 19municipality region;

Focusing on special topic projects
including Chittenden County Energy
Strategy Report, fair housing, Brownfields,
climate change, and the Chittenden County
Child Care Regional Plan;

Serving as an at-large board member on the
Urban and Community Forestry Council as
well as on the council’s executive board as
the vice president;

Serving as staff support to CCRPC
committees, as well as regional workshops
and forums.

Facilitated natural resource planning, development of master plans, hazard mitigation plans, conservation
subdivision research and development, brownfields redevelopment, zoning and site plan review, and wildlife
studies. This included coordinating and leading committee meetings, working with the public on a daily basis
through technical assistance, and public presentations.
