Letter of Support
Applicants are asked to provide a Letter of Support from their sponsoring organization (usually their
employer) signed by an appropriate authorizing agent, affirming the willingness to facilitate an individual's
participation in the program.
Here is a sample sponsorship letter (below) for your reference.

I have carefully reviewed the materials describing The University of Iowa’s
Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) program. I have also
discussed this program with Mr. Samual Raul.
After careful consideration, I would like to verify that ABC, Inc. will gladly sponsor
Mr. Raul’s pursuit of an Executive MBA degree from the University of Iowa
beginning in the fall of 2012.
Mr. Raul, who is employed with us as Vice President of Marketing, has been
