Specific Job Description: The Integration and Test (I&T) Engineer will be responsible for tasks as assigned by the I&T Lead. The Integration and Test (I&T) Engineer will report to the I&T Engineering Manager and be under the general direction of the I&T Lead. Duties include: Ensuring that Test procedures are developed in line with the requirements and to the standards required by the I&T processes Ensuring that Test documentation is delivered to schedule and available for Test Readiness Reviews (TRR) Ensuring that tasks assigned are completed by the programme to cost & schedule Investigation of faults found through testing Monitoring and progressing fix development & embodiment Ensuring I&T processes for fault reporting and investigation complied with Producing, collecting and reporting appropriate metrics showing progress Using Metrics to guide decisions and for management reporting Liaising with Engineers to ensure rapid diagnosis of problems Required Skills: Required Skills: Automated test experience Ability to synthesize requirements into system test solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule and cost constraints Ability to determine and pursue courses of action necessary to obtain desired results Excellent team player, understands the balance of team work within own team and across the wider business Clear and concise communication/presentation skills to influence and invoke change throughout the organisation Enthusiastic self-starter with the ability to work with all levels of engineering, programme management and leadership Desired Skills: Experience of Scrum/Agile Experience with Quality Centre Experience with JIRA Oracle test knowledge Familiarity with any of the following: Windows (NT/2003/7/2008) UNIX OS Oracle Databases XML/SQL Java/J2EE Standard Job Description: Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications. Typical Minimum Education & Experience: Ideally require a Bachelors’ degree from an accredited college and capability typically achieved through proven professional experience.
