Parent Information
Parents,
We are finally set to perform and share our biography reports. The students have been
working really hard on these, and they are excited to share their information. Please made
sure to have students dressed in costumes on Tuesday morning. We will walk our boards to
the MPR after I take roll. We will not open the MPR doors until 9:00 as I would like to give
students time to set up. Feel free to invite family members to watch your child perform
their speech. This week, we will continue to work on paired reading passages. We have
been taking two weeks to read passages multiple times with a different focus each time.
Students have been practicing responding to a prompt and siting sources. In math, we
continue to work on area and perimeter. Students will be taking their assessments on area
and perimeter, soon.
Testing: I am so proud of how our students performed on their writing assessment. They
all worked very hard and did their best. Please look to my web page for testing dates.
Look Ahead:
April 18th: Biography Report Boards due
April 19th: Biography Museum
April 20th: Santa Rosa Plateau
