A big hello to our first time drama families and a welcome back to our returning artists, it is going to be a great theatrical arts
season. There will be many opportunities for your child to perform and be in the spotlight this year. Whether on stage or behind the
scenes, your child will be part of our spectacular program and exciting season, so to ensure clear communication we are asking for
permission to enroll your teen in our social media accounts. The drama department has a free account with Remind, an AP which
allows me to send a text message or email directly to you and your child's phone. This will notify the members communication is
essential in the arts program.
Thanks for supporting this new technology to help us communicate better with our students and their families.
Instructions for all periods are below. REMEMBER YOUR PERSONAL CODE IS NEXT TO YOUR CLASS PERIOD




Step one: Take your phone and create a new message for texting
Step two: On the phone type the number- (509)350-8785
Step three: In the message box type: @mvtheatrix
Step Four: press send.
You will receive a return message asking for your full name. This is posted in the account, so I can see who is a member for each of
my drama courses. This helps me know who is being notified and who is not. Type EXACTLY as you see it above. There are no
mistakes. Parents if you sign up on the account please begin your name with a capitol P, then space and type your name. This will
mark you as parent on my account folders.
