Event Rate Structure
The following event rate structure is used as a guide to determine event parking fees. Parking and
Transportation will notify the sponsoring department of the event total as additional signage and/or
staffing resources are not included in the amounts listed below. Parking and Transportation reserves
the right to increase the rate charged to the sponsoring department if the number reported during the
event is found to be in excess of the number originally requested.
How to Utilize the Rate Chart:
1. Determine the date of the event.
Peak Time: August 15th through Spring Commencement, Monday through Friday 8:00am4:30pm
Non-Peak Time: Weekends throughout the year; and Monday after Spring Commencement
through August 14th, Monday through Friday 4:31pm to 3:00am
2. Determine the duration of the event.



2.5 hours- 4.49 hours= ½ Day

4.5 or more hours= full day
3. Estimate the number of vehicles that will park on campus for your event.
4. Use these three pieces of information to determine the price per vehicle.
5. Multiply the price per vehicle by the number of anticipated vehicles.
