We now pay multiple taxes between the manufacture and purchase of any item. A tax placed only once at the time of purchase would greatly reduce the price of any article. The poor will continue to buy only what they really need. Without multiple taxes the price which they actually pay for food and clothing will be less or at least equal, even with a l5 or l6% tax. Corporations will no longer be taxed, which means they will no longer be passing their taxes on to us at the retail level. We will be able to dismiss the cost of Accountants for the purpose of preparing our annual tax return, thereby saving thousands of dollars each year. Dorine Millar Pompano Beach, Fl. 33062
