This is what I have been saying for years go to a federal user tax for
business and personal.
Taxes are way to complex, time consuming and expensive to file. If we
could put more of our personal and business tax dollars to more
important and necessary expenses we could be more competitive in the
international market with our products. We are already up against the
wall with workman's comp, liability insurance, insurance in general,
health coverage's and employee
benefits.
This will help those in the lower income bracket as the better off
spend by far a lot more dollars. Thus the ones with the money will be
spending and paying the tax.
Go to a national user tax, plus a scaled income tax for anyone that
earns over $100,000 annually and adjust it every 5 years for inflation
with no write offs.
Everyone in the US, especially the citizens should be able to file
their own taxes and not have to pay to have them down. It does not have
to be difficult. The IRS could almost be totally done away with. How
many billions would that save?
This will hit the democrats because you show you are helping low and
middle and taxing the rich.
Let's overhaul the legal system as well. Get rid of all these law
suites.
In order for the attorneys to sue they must prove intent and
knowledgeable, beyond reasonable neglect. Any business that knowingly
produces a harmful or dangerous product, an item less than specs etc.
and covers it up, then all those involved committing that act, will not
only face jail, they will loose all personal assets and pay that to the
victims. The company should not be sued, as that hurts all the innocent
employees and stock holders. If it is a privately held company and the
owner(s) commit the misdeed, then the company will be sold and proceeds
will go to the people inured or harmed, if no one was harmed then the
money should go into a national fund to cover the expenses the
government has in discovering and solving these issues.
The same should be done for people and business that cheat on taxes
this will clean up the problem fast. The same should be done for
illegal stock transactions. Hey if you can take away the drug
trafficker's assets then do
the same with the above scoundrels and cheats.
Malpractice--- if a Dr. does more than 3 malpractices then he looses
his right to practice anywhere in the US for life. What constitutes
malpractice needs to be tightened up and not like it is now; the
attorneys have ruined it for everyone.
Car law suites and suing hey if it is an accident then it is an
accident no law suit but if a person is driving with out no insurance
then they loose personal assets. If it is a repeated offender, jail
them. Let everyone's insurance take care of themselves, but everyone
must have insurance!!
