1. An aspect of the tax system that seems unfair to me is how state income tax
returns are taxed (both federally and by many states). I have money taken out of
my pay for state taxes, and receive a return for having too much money taken out
(having too little will result in a penalty). I am then taxed again on this tax return
which doesn’t seem right.
