Strategic Plan and Objectives The committee members continued working on the University Strategic Goals and Objectives. The goals and objectives are included in this document. Linda reviewed the Board of Trustee presentation of the Strategic Goals and Objectives draft document. Board members asked what the Board role will be in this process and they were told that as the SPBC is advisory, the Board will have to approve any strategic plan. So, after the plan is developed and vetted across campus, the SPBC will present a tentative strategic plan to the Board for their decision. The committee members began working on goal indicators, i.e. how will we know if a goal or action plan has been effective. We’ll continue working on indicators and the plan this summer so we have a completed draft document to present to the campus community at convocation.
