Submission Guidelines
Abstracts are suited only for those doctoral students in their first year of their Ph.D.
Presenters are asked to submit an abstract (500-1000 words) of their current research
covering proposed research objectives, brief literature review and research
methodology.
Extended Abstracts are suited for those doctoral students in their second or third
year of their Ph.D. Presenters are asked to submit an extended abstract (1500-2500
words) covering proposed research objectives, brief literature review and research
methodology.
Masters Students: Those expecting to continue to Doctoral status are also welcome
to attend and should submit an abstract (500-1000) words outlining their intended or
current Master’s research topic covering proposed research objectives, brief literature
review and research methodology.
Alternatively, Masters Students are strongly encouraged to prepare Posters. For
posters please put the illustrations/brief text passages or any other materials for
presentation on the poster. The poster maybe of following dimensions: 4 x 8 (1.219m
x 2.438m). Landscape presentation board and push pins will be provided.
The conference will consist of small seminar group discussions of in form of 'research
conversations' sessions. Discussions will be facilitated by senior academics in the
related area. The sessions are expected to be interactive, with no formal presentations,
and participants are expected to give a brief background of their research, followed by
comments by the moderator and other participants within the group.
Submissions can be made in the area of Strategic Management, Organisation Studies,
Marketing, Corporate Social Responsibility, Finance and Business History. Students
researching in other areas in Management are also welcome to submit.
