Conquistador letter.
You are going to take on the persona of one of the
conquistadores from the 1500s. You will write a letter to the
King of Spain telling about your exploration. Look on the map
on page 104 and select the conquistador you are writing as.
The letter needs to include the purpose of your travel, where
you are traveling, and what has taken place on your travels
(Native American encounters, death, and disease.)
Your letter needs to be at least one page long and there needs
to be an illustration on the back that represents your journey.
