Welcome to Navo Middle School. My name is Drew McMaster and this is my 7th
year to teach and my 4th year at Navo Middle School. I have high expectations for
all of my students and expect great success this year!

Expectations . . .
I expect students to come in prepared with an open mind. I expect them to
participate in classroom discussions. I encourage everyone do the best they
possibly can. History can be an engaging class.
Tutorials:
Thursday mornings at 7:45 and after school as needed.
Grading Policy . . .
-40% Daily* (Daily Assignments/Activities, Quizzes, Homework, etc…)
-60% Major (Tests, Projects, History Binder, etc…)
Daily Supplies
You will need to have the following items for class each day:
Agenda Paper, and Sharpened Pencils with Erasers.
We Kahoot!- Denton ISD is a tech friendly district. We have many opportunities
for students to use technology for educational purposes. On those days we do ask
for students to bring in their personal devices. If students does not have a personal
device, arrangements will be made for them.
