This is your spelling list for this week. On
Friday, you will be expected to spell & read
each word on a Spelling Quiz. Practice
spelling your words at least twice a week.




Academics
Reading: We will be studying the short u sound. We will
also be working on using the writing process to write
stories.
Math: We will be determining what the unknown is in
addition and subtraction problems. They will also be
using what they know about addition and subtraction to
solve problems addition problems with 2 and 3 digit
numbers
Social Studies/Science: We will be learning about day
and night in science this week.

describe the relationships among
them and use relationships to count
by twos, fives, and tens to determine
the value of a collection of pennies,
nickels, and/or dimes
