WEBSITE RESEARCH

This activity will require students to either go to a semen company website or peruse
through a semen catalog. The students will then write a one page paper about the website
or catalog they choose. Students should answer the following questions in their paper.
What species of semen was the company selling, approximately how many different sires
did they have, what was the price ranges, what kinds of genetic information was
included, and what other services did that company offer. The students should also write
about what interested them or surprised them the most about their website or catalog.
Finally the students will pick their top three sires offered and justify why they choose
them for breeding purposes.
