Procedure
1.
Give students both handouts and have them attempt to fill out the parts
identification sheet. Go over the sheet to ensure that each student has them
labeled appropriately.
2.
Have students study the showmanship guide individually and answer any
questions about the directions.
3.
Have 2-3 students at a time practice the steps in the showmanship guide.
4.
As the students go through the procedure, discuss what the steps are for with
them. Explain what each examination step is designed to do or find.
