Swine Ear Notching

Using construction paper and scissors found in this room, you are to make sample pig
heads out of construction paper. Once you have constructed 2 pig heads including ears,
you are then to notch each of the ears to display the proper litter and pig number. I will
assign you your litter and pig numbers once you have picked up your construction paper.
After everyone has constructed their 2 sets of pig ears, we will then set up an “Around the
World” cycle where you will travel around the room and record the pig and littler
numbers for each set of pigs. You will record these values on a separate sheet of
notebook paper numbered up two times the number of students present in class today.
