table shows that a 9.5% crude protein ration is needed. Corn and oats are selected. Corn
is 8.9% protein and Oats are 13.3 proteins. How much corn and oats needs to be mixed
together for 1,000 pounds of feed?
Problem: 3,000 pounds of feed is needed to feed a growing hog. A feeding standard
table shows that a 14 % crude protein ration is needed. Corn and distillers grain are
selected. Corn is 8.9% protein and distillers grain is 25.4% protein as fed basis. How
much corn and distillers grain needs to be mixed together for 3,000 pounds of feed?
