Creating an Agenda Activity
You have a meeting scheduled on Monday, September 25th at 3:00 in the
Ag Building. You secretary presents you with the following agenda item
requests. You would also like to discuss a fundraising idea that was
presented to you by a local business that wants to let your chapter use their
store front to sell ice cream at the old car show two weeks from now.
The secretary presents you with the following agenda items:
* The secretary would like to discuss purchasing new student
handbooks for 1st year members
* The vice president wants to finalize National Convention plans
* Special committee’s report on their plan for the Food For America
program.
* Status of the P.O.A.
* Sally Smith, a Michigan Farm Bureau Representative, would like to
come and talk about getting involved in Farm Bureau’s “Ag in the
Classroom” program.
* The sentinel would like to lead a leadership game before the
meeting starts to help old members get to know new members.
* The reporter would like to tell of an offer by the local paper to
highlight the poultry contest.
* The treasurer would like to remind everyone that she is ordering
FFA jackets next week and that money is due Friday. She would
also like to discuss having the chapter order 5 jackets for the chapter
to have on hand for members to borrow.
* According to the secretary, a motion to vote on participating in the
adopt-a-highway program was postponed until this meeting.
