Having or exhibiting hatred
The Disney villians are characterized by
their malevolent behavior towards the
heroes.
5) Mortification (n)
A feeling of shame or humiliation
Teens often seem to feel mortification
when their peers witness a display of
affection from their parents.
6) Piety (n)
Religious devotion and reverence to
God
Many people keep their piety a private
matter, but I don’t see the reason to hide
this aspect of your life.

A brief temporary stay
My week long sojourn on a cruise ship to
Alaska has left me with the desire to visit
again one day.

Spotlessly clean and fresh
Lance Armstrong’s unsullied reputation

Irritation or annoyance
The sound of nails on a chalkboard is a
vexation that can now be avoided since
chalkboards have been replaced by
whiteboards.
10) Wallow (v)
To spend time experiencing or enjoying
something without making any effort to
change your situation, feelings, etc.
