Classroom Policies and Expectations
Welcome to class. A classroom is a place where all types of learning can take place. Content learning is the most obvious
type, but a student has the opportunity to learn more about values, relationships and themselves.

read assigned pages

Classroom Rules

Student Handbook
Class and School Rules will be enforced
Write homework assignment in planner each day
2)
Attitude and Behavior
Be positive and respectful to everyone in class at all times
Displays of rudeness, disrespect, profanity, vandalism or intimidation will not be tolerated.

Discipline
Will be handled individually which may include a verbal warning,
a conference, parental contact or referral to administration
5)
Cheating
Any evidence of will result in a zero for that assignment.
Do not copy others assignments or let people copy your assignments.
Ask if you need help.
6)
Late Work
Will be accepted but full credit will not be given.
7)
Missed Work due to excused absence
Is due on the day you return. You may make arrangements for extended absences or special situations
8)
Missed Tests or Quizzes due to excused absence
Need to be made up within 3 school days if absence is excused
Lunchtime is best make up time otherwise make an appointment
9)
Grading
Total points are combined for each quarter and added to a final exam. The grading scale will follow:
A=90-100 % B=80-89 %
C=70-79 %
D=60-69 %
F=below 60%
10. Extra Help
Students can come in for extra help before school, conference time or during 2nd lunch.
11. Parent/Teacher Contact
Best time to reach me is before school and after 4:30. I will return your phone call or email within 24
hours.
