Dear Parents:
It’s only fair that our first homework assignment in Contemporary Literature is for you. Yes, you are
getting a homework assignment!
The reason behind this assignment is that it takes me a great deal of time to know your child, however,
you know your child best, so this activity gives you a chance to tell me what you think I should know
about your student. Also, it gives me a chance to see your child through your eyes, gather an understand
of his/her strengths and weakness, and future aspirations.
Here’s the assignment: In a million words or less, please tell me about your child. You can tell me what
you think your child’s strengths and weakness are, what you’d like for your child to learn this year, your
child’s interests, family life, etc. I will not share this information with anyone else.
You can either send your assignment with your child or email it to be at stathulc@wcsoh.org by Friday,
August 21, 2015.
