Responsibility and Consequences
The following information deals with behavior and homework policies for Mr. Borland’s
American History classes. Please discuss this information with your child, sign it below, and return it no later than Friday August 15th .
Discipline Policy
Responsibilities
1.
Students must be on time and in their seats.
2.
Students must raise their hands to ask questions or to leave their seats.
3.
Students will not be dismissed until the teacher dismisses class.
4.
Students must respect others and their property.
5.
Students must follow directions the first time they are given.
6.
Students must be prepared for class with books, supplies and homework.
Consequences (daily checks)
1.
1 check = verbal warning
2.
2 checks= Teacher conference
3.
3 checks = teacher and student contact parents
Homework
Daily homework that is not turned in on time in class will be counted as a zero.
Project Policy
Everyday that a project is late the student will lose a letter grade.
