Kindergarten Weekly Newsletter October 18, 2012 Language Arts We are continuing to learn our color words and our number words. The students colored various worksheets and fall leaf books that had our color words in them. We used different strategies to try and figure out what those words are. Mathematics This week in math we reviewed sequencing numbers. We did this using pictures, numbers, and words. You may have seen big pieces of construction paper come home with numbers that were supposed to be glued in the correct order. If you noticed that your child’s paper was glued in the wrong order, please practice counting with your child everyday! Homework There will be no homework next week as it is only a three day week.
