Is This Revelation Authentic?
The following are excerpts from the writings of Dr. Mary Jane Even of Nebraska, a Catholic who
claims that Jesus, Mary and St. Joseph appeared to her several times in 1999. The paragraphs below
are what they supposedly said to her. Do you believe that these are authentic?
What is the evidence for your answer? What is your gut feeling?
“My children, I believe people forget how short life on earth really is compared to life eternal. Everything
looks so important, so dramatic, that many people take themselves and what they do far too seriously. Yes,
there are serious problems. Yes, there are crises. Yes, there are great events and wonderful memories.
What I am saying is that life lived for God can have a great openness, a great love of life, with a tempered
spirit due to the desire to live in virtue. Live for God, my children, and for his ways, not your ways.”

“I wish to state the truths of Faith to counteract some of these heresies. Please listen. I include many, but
not all, because daily some priest here or there makes up something new to cause chaos in the church. . .
There are instances in which a Mass may be invalid, among these, any time a layperson. . . attempts a
consecration. Due to the fact that they may be starting to offer Masses in some areas, I mention this here.
Such Masses are totally invalid and only a show. Period.”

“Please, my children, be alert to the language and activity of your priests. Do not allow yourselves to be
instrumental agents of heretical priests. Do not believe that God approves Communion services led by
laity. Do not accept assignments of Eucharistic Ministers. Say “no,” and tell the priest that this is his
work.
Also I alert you to the need for all words of the liturgy to be followed, not a shortcut or skipping of parts.
All must be said. It is all important. When you compare the Old Latin Rite and its beautiful prayers with
the Novus Ordo Mass, there is enough change and deletions already. The grace given at this Mass is not
the same, you can be sure, but all this is permitted by God.
Know this, that in the Reign of Peace all shall be restored to its former Glory. All shall be as it was before
Vatican II, and yet more also will be glorified. None of the Modernism will be allowed. Modernism shall,
has, destroyed the Faith and the Church. All change is based upon Modernism. It used to be a heresy.
Now it has become a way of life. How sad.”
