The highly accelerated pace requires that students take a great deal of responsibility for their own learning. While in class, students are required to actively participate in class and group activities. Outside the class, students should expect a minimum of 15 hours per week of study. Because of the accelerated nature of the course, attendance is very important. Two missed classes will be allowed, after adequate in advance notification. If additional absence is required, it will have to be made up. No more than a total of three classes can be missed for successful completion of this course.
