This project intends to enable access to our Cyrus mail store from Blackberry RIM

The vendor is preparing a formal proposal. Basically, the gateway software would be
installed on the Dell box as above in the machine room. Since it does not support
IMAP/S, it should use a port on the same switch as Cyrus. The Ravlin devices provide
VPN support between ourselves and Motient, the service provider.
