Flashcard Instructions
Directions: Following the instructions below, create flashcards using the vocabulary lists that are given
out in class:
Materials need:
 3x5 cards in 4 different colors (preferably: Red, blue, yellow and white)
 Colored pencils
 Vocabulary list
 Pictures of vocabulary (optional)
Instructions:
On one side of a 3x5 card write the German word – COPY THE EXACT SPELLING FROM THE
VOCABULARY LIST. On the other side draw a picture describing the word of use the pictures
from your vocabulary list – if you need an additional copy of the list, please see me.
For example:
Der Tisch
Make sure that the gender of the noun matches the appropriate color!
Example:
der = Blue, die = Red, das = Yellow and all other words = white.
