Narrow your selection to one or two and design an original, colorful, artistic flyer or sign to encourage teenagers to act more responsibly concerning that one or two moral issue. The flyer or sign must be placed on an oak tag no smaller than 9 x 12. Avoid “simple writing” or handwritten method for lettering; avoid visible pencil lines. Place your name on the reverse side of the artistic sign Option 2: Making A Moral Difference in the World Have you heard of Craig Kielburger, founder of Free the Children? Kielburger began speaking out for children's rights at the age of twelve. Or maybe you've heard of 11year-old Annie Wignall, who created the Care Bags Foundation, an organization that distributes games, toothbrushes, books, and more to kids during difficult times? Or have you heard of Jason Crowe? At the age of ten, he was so moved by the story of Vedran Smailovic called “the Cellist of Sarajevo” a cellist who played his instrument in a war zone for days to honor 22 people who died in an attack on a bakery, that he raised money to construct a statue of the musician in Sarajevo. Can you be the next to make a profound difference in the world? A. Identify a need in the school or your neighborhood community and develop a plan to help take care of that specific need. Be concrete in naming the need and be specific in terms of the plan to alleviate, eliminate, or address the problem, issue or concern. B. In a paragraph of five to seven typed sentences, provide a typed brief description of the issue or need followed by a bullet point plan of ideas to alleviate, eliminate, or address the problem, issue, or concern.
