All of our staff has both email and voicemail to help answer questions you might have. The purpose is to help students recognize the dangers of drug use in our community and avoid becoming drug free. It is our commitment to drug prevention and education with a goal of drug free lives. The recognition commemorates the loss of DEA agent Enrique Camarena. Our students see the results of drug use in our community and in the lives of others. Most recently, Cory Monteith from “Glee” died from drug use. Our kids know the stories and it is important that they recognize that nay use can be dangerous. Our thanks go out in advance to our PTO sponsors and volunteers for their work to help us commemorate this event. PTO Meeting- Thanks to all that came to support out PTO. They are working hard on Carnival preparations and plans for our Edison Carnival on November 15th. Join us for food and fun and help our PTO raise funds for all our activities this year. It will feature a chance to dunk our Principal and who doesn’t want to do that? COX Communications- MPS Program Cox Communications and Connect2Compete are teaming up to help families get affordable Internet access. Mesa Public Schools is partnering with them to get the word out. Families should have received information about the program in the form of an introductory letter in English and Spanish, an informational flier in English and Spanish and there are posters up in the office with more details. This program has asked us to direct parent inquiries to use the contact information in the letter and on the fliers.
