Offline Circulation
It is suggested that you only circulate offline to Check Out materials. Once Destiny is available,
Check In all materials prior to uploading the offline circulation files for Check Out.
Check Out Offline Procedures:
1. Open Notepad (Start, Programs, Accessories). Do not use Microsoft Word.
2. Scan the Check Out command code.
3. Scan the patron's barcode.
4. Scan the copy barcode.
5. Repeat step 4 as needed for additional copies.
6. To check out items to another patron,
repeat steps 2–5.
7. Save a separate text file for each teacher or class. If an error occurs, it will be easier to
remedy. Make sure to save it as a .txt file and record the name and location of the file.
When Destiny is available, you'll need to upload the file.
