Susan Dunn reported on the most recent CLC meeting.
The main topics were the CARE Model and President
Shugart’s review of the new college governance model.

Isabel Rivera discussed the December 2013 TedX
Women’s Conference and the upcoming WP campus
marketing campaign (banners on Morse Blvd and Park
Ave)

HR Move – will be moved and open for business April 7th.
The movers come April 4th.
Fire Institute has moved in downstairs and will be
renovating quickly. New name is “Public Safety Institute.”
Changes in HR
o Campus reps on three largest campuses (coming
soon)
o Will include a records person, employment
representative, and a campus director

Hoping to get internships out of partners
Florida Institute of Technology collaboration
o Biotech program may begin in the Fall
o The program has been approved; however,
funding for personnel has not yet been approved.

o More homeless/transients coming to enroll at

o Difficulties in approach (staff are concerned – feel
uncomfortable)
